Join the Nonprofit Center for a series of workshops to help developing and smaller organizations educate their volunteers and staff on the roles and responsibilities as Treasurer or Finance Committee, reading financial statements, basic daily financial management, budgeting, and important reporting requirements.
Session 1: Roles and Responsibilities as Treasurer or Finance Committee
Understanding your role as Treasurer of your Board or as a member of the Finance Committee is essential. This session will walk you through those roles and responsibilities, and give you background information about how the new Form 990 impacts the work of the Finance Committee.
