Moving Forward Together
An Initiative of the Northeast Florida Nonprofit Sector
The Nonprofit Center and the nonprofit sector in northeast Florida are leading an initiative that will create collaborative opportunities, craft sustainable change and fuse the future of the nonprofit sector.
Moving Forward Together is builds on the fundamental belief that nonprofits are vital to society, the goals of the initiative are to strengthen the voice of the sector in order to spur social change using innovative, sustainable and progressive actions.
The work is concentrated in five areas:
- Increase Board Power and Value
- Develop Nonprofit Messages aimed at key audiences
- Create Powerful Links among various constituencies
- Measure and Report Impact of the sector’s efforts and value
- Educate Decision Makers about the sector’s role in quality of life and economic impact
Each focus area has a volunteer Action Team responsible for developing priorities and implementing changes. The results will be a unified nonprofit sector, speaking with one voice, and driving our community into the future.
