Chief Administration Officer, Duval County Tax Collector
Sherry Hall recently completed her term as the Secretary for the Nonprofit Center Board of Directors.
Sherry currently serves as the Chief Administrative Officer for the Office of Michael Corrigan, Duval County Tax Collector, where she is responsible for the daily management of all operations of the Tax Collector’s office.
Sherry began her career in public service in 2002 as the Communications Manager for the City of Jacksonville, Department of Public Works. In 2004 she was recruited to serve as Director of Communications for the Water and Sewer Expansion Authority. Then in 2006 she was asked by Mayor John Peyton to serve in his administration as Policy Director. In that position, she spearheaded legislative efforts in support of the Mayor’s key initiatives, securing winning votes on more than 800 pieces of legislation.
Prior to her career in public service, Sherry was Marcom and Public Relations Client Services manager for BurdetteB2B (now known as Burdette Ketchum). She also formerly held the position of Account Executive in the sports and consumer brand marketing divisions at Ketchum in Atlanta, GA, one of the world’s largest Public Relations agencies.
Sherry previously served on the board of the Jacksonville Zoo and enjoys volunteering at her church and in the public school system.
She is a Jacksonville native and graduated from the University of Florida.
